Pleasant River Campground

What a fun spot! The little home is in a campground, with a pool and a playground. We didn’t spend a lot of time there, but we did swim, buy some food at the store, and used the playground. My dog loved it and my twin six year olds like it too. The home smells amazing like fresh wood and everything was clean! Lovely clean. We made s’mores at the private fire pit outside our door and sat at the picnic table. It was lovely. Thanks for everything!

This was the perfect cabin for our quick stay. The kids loved the loft. We’re Floridians so we appreciate when a place up north has adequate cooling, which this cabin definitely did. Perfect cozy stay.

Stayed here with my five buddies, what a time! The furniture and decorations inside made for a warm and cozy vibe. All the rooms were clean, and the cabinets were full of useful plates and cutlery. We really enjoyed our first ever log cabin experience.

I was looking for a relaxing long weekend away, and that is exactly what I got. The cabin was pristine. The kitchen had everything that you could possibly need. The bedrooms were perfect. It felt like nobody had ever been there before the campground was quiet and clean and the pool was so nice. Josh was really quick to answer my questions and it even felt like he was anticipating what I was going to ask. I would highly recommend the cabin and the campground to families or a couples retreat.

The interior was clean and well-decorated, with attention to detail, including throw blankets and nature-themed decor. The fully equipped kitchen allowed for the preparation of family meals …This cabin offered comfort and nature. It provided a relaxing experience. Whispering Pines is recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway, and plans are being made for a return visit. I can’t say enough great things about this cabin rental. It was stocked with everything we needed and more. Decorated and cleaned to perfection. We have never been to a rental property where it seemed the owners took as much pride and put forth as much effort into every little detail. I will definitely recommend…..

Perfect little getaway for the 4th of July weekend! The cabin was so cozy and very clean. Kids loved the pool and the other amenities that the campground had to offer. Step Falls Preserve was beautiful and only 25 minutes from the campground! Josh was great at communicating. We will be booking again in the future!

Very nice cabin with lots to do in the area. Josh was super helpful and the campground staff were friendly and responsive. If we are back in the area we will book again!

Great location! Close to good restaurants and sightseeing spots. I would probably recommend to book this place during peak fall season as it’s surrounded by great locations. The cabin was as described. The main road is close to cabin so you may hear some traffic noise but otherwise it was peaceful!

The cabins at Pleasant River Campground are superb! The amenities offered are ample and the space is cozy & inviting. The location is an excellent base to take advantage of endless nearby outdoor activities; truly a wonderful accommodation overall! I had the pleasure of speaking with Josh's mum upon my early morning departure, she was incredibly lovely and takes immense pride in providing a memorable guest experience. I will certainly be back again~
